From June 1 to restricted movement of heavy vehicles on the roads of Ukraine

From June 1 began to operate restrictions on the movement on most roads General purpose heavy trucks. On certain sections of road from 10:00 to 22:00 hours prohibited the movement of vehicles with a total weight of over 24 tons or an axle load exceeding 7 tons. This was reported by pre-service of "Ukravtodor".

Such a restriction is introduced every year in the summer, when daily temperature exceeds 28 degrees, which leads to heating of the asphalt coating of roads and its destruction.

in addition, in its communication to the press service reminded that Ukraine has banned traffic on roads that have a national significance and refer to ways of common use, vehicles whose weight exceeds 40 tons, and on local roads vehicles with a load per axle of more than 7 tons and with an actual weight exceeding 24 tons.

On the roads of Ukraine there are 33 points gabaritno-weight control, together with representatives of territorial units of the National police and Ukrtransleasing. The detection of exceeding the permissible weight during the control weighing of the vehicle, the driver faces a penalty of 40 non-taxable minimum of citizens (at least 1 today is equal 680 UAH), and the carrier in the amount of 100 tax-free minima of entrepreneurs (at least 1 today is 1700 UAH).
