The quality of the wheat in Kazakhstan is worse togoro

Harvesting campaign in Kazakhstan held 97.3% of the area. However, after a cold spring, excessively wet summer and late harvest the quality of wheat is much worse togoro. In most regions of the still ongoing rain, and from mid-September in some areas was observed frosts that damaged crops.

As of September 15 due to the delay of ripening was threshed only 46.5% of the area under cereals, whereas last year at this date was threshed by 76.5% of the area. Some farmers gathered the unripe grain due to fears of huge losses in the event of an early winter.

According to the Ministry of agriculture of the country as of September 14, among the harvested wheat grain the highest class, the amount of grain of the first class amounted to 0.8% of last year's volume at that date, the granules of the second class is 1.4%, the third – 78% of the number of 2017.

However, by the end of the harvest early to draw conclusions about the quality of Kazakhstan's harvest - believe in the Union zernopererabotki and bakers of the country. Moreover, the situation is quite heterogeneous across the regions. The actual outcome will be known in late October, when farmers fully assemble and proschat grain.

However, experts believe that poor quality grain will not affect the export prospects of Kazakh flour, the main consumer of which in recent years is Afghanistan. This country is more interested in flour with a low gluten content, which has a lower price. And for its production ideal wheat of the fourth class, which this year Kazakhstan has gathered too much.
