The Verkhovna Rada adopted the law on organic production

Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine 251 votes "for" adopted in the first reading the bill "On main principles and requirements to the production, trafficking and the labelling of organic products", - said the press service of the agriculture Ministry.

This law will enhance the competitiveness of domestic organic products, extension, external markets, creation of transparent conditions of doing business in the production and distribution of goods.

the Law defines the General principles of state regulation in the sphere of production and circulation of organic products, rights, obligations and liability for violations of participants of the market of organic products, established the powers and responsibilities of Central bodies of Executive power.

the Document changes the requirements for manufacturing, labeling and processing of organic products, and establishes the principles of organic production certification with detail in terms of industry sectors, determines the order of registration of certification bodies the participants of the market of organic seeds and products.

Separately define the list and the allowable concentration of substances (components) are allowed to be used in the process of organic production and the procedure for obtaining permission for their use.

Recall that on 4 April, Ukraine introduced a new system of quality control and food safety, which will allow you to check the enterprise, depending on the degree of risk to life and health of people. In particular, the sale of fresh meat carries more risks than the implementation of packaged products shelf stable.
