The government promises to return for farmers special regime of VAT

At yesterday's meeting of the working group on development and evaluation of options for improving the taxation system in the agricultural sector, estimated areas and volumes of its support by the state, development of agricultural land market it was decided on the necessity of amending some articles of the current Tax code.

Presiding at the meeting First Vice-Premier . Cubyv, who is the Minister of economic development and trade announced that the group has reached a preliminary agreement on the abandonment of the single tax of the 4th group (to 2015 – the fixed agricultural tax) at the disposal of the communities and the relevant amendments to legislative documents.

Also made a strategic and economically sound decision about the necessity of returning terms of charging VAT, valid until 2016. That is, the special regime for VAT (when 100% VAT remains on the accounts of agricultural producers) shall be applied to all agricultural enterprises, or at least for those involved in animal husbandry, horticulture, viticulture, vegetable-growing and production of sugar.
