Continues the discussion of the new standard of wheat

in the next year in Ukraine will change the requirements to the quality of wheat, which is the main export crop of domestic agriculture. The current DSTU 3768:2010 is already outdated and needs upgrading, so it will replace the new standard "Wheat. Technical conditions", which is now under discussion. The draft of the new document that takes into account the suggestions of relevant experts, exporters and manufacturers posted on the website of "Institute of grain crops NAAS of Ukraine".

Main changes relate to the following:

section "Normative references", which is complemented by the standard method of determining the wheat power flour

section "Technical requirements", where you modified some of the quality parameters for soft wheat,

section "Methods of determining quality indicators", which includes the DSTU 4111.4-2002 "Flour. The physical characteristics of the test. Part 4. The determination of rheological properties by alveograph".

• in the Preface, which States the developer of the document - "of Institute of grain crops" and the relevant technical Committee 170,

In the new standard included a single class of non-food wheat and three class food.

the developers of the document within 60 days from the date of publication of the message expecting comments and suggestions on the improvement of the standard.
