Significantly increased the number of complaints about the inconsistency of Ukrainian export products world-phytosanitary requirements

In comparison with 2013 for 2016 several times increased the number of notifications about discrepancy of quality of export of Ukrainian products the phytosanitary regulations of importing countries. This was reported by the press service of Directorului with reference to the statement of the Deputy head of the Department of phytosanitary safety and quality control of seeds of A. Colombica.

"a Significant concern is the increase in the number of notifications of non-compliance quality of products with the phytosanitary requirements received from countries that are partners of Ukraine on the world grain market. Last year there were misunderstandings with the quality of the grain which was exported to Indonesia, India, China, Turkey, Belarus", - stated in the message.

the Reason for receiving such complaints is the lack of control in the process of obtaining phytosanitary certificates from both the inspectors and the exporters.

"to Improve the situation will be possible through implementation of an integrated pest control during cultivation, handling, and sale for export of plants and plant products, and also strengthening of responsibility of heads of regional administrations, Derisorily, phytosanitary inspectors and laboratories", - said A.
