The Ministry may revise export volumes of grain established by the Memorandum

Minagropolitiki ready to revise upward the number of grains and oilseeds that are approved to export in accordance with the Memorandum of understanding on the grain market. This was during a meeting of the working group was told by the Deputy Minister A. Kovalev.

it is Reported that as of 01.12.16 the volume of grain exports in the season 2016/17 MG were as follows:

• for wheat, with 66.5% of the envisaged Memorandum of 16.5 million tons,
• corn and 33.7% of the envisaged Memorandum of 17.2 million tons
• barley – 74,8% of the envisaged Memorandum of 5.6 million. tons

"given the above data, we are ready to reconsider the possibility of increasing the volume of grain crops and corn for export. I propose to return to the discussion at the next meeting, which will be held in January-February, after we get the updated information regarding the corn harvest", - said Oleg Kovalev.

in addition, the participants of the meeting discussed topical issues of Ukrainian companies on world markets, the question procrastina activities, sales forecasts grain and medium-term implementation plans.

Recall that specified the Memorandum of understanding signed by the Ministry agroproduction and participants in the domestic grain market provides for cooperation in the harmonization of the balance on the grain market, in particular when determining the maximum number of exports to ensure food security.
