Purchase prices for grains in Ukraine on October 19, 2026

Ukraine's grain market continues to show a substantial gap between prices at ports, elevators and farm level. The strongest pressure is currently concentrated in the corn market, where the arrival of the new harvest is increasing supply. High logistics costs and limited storage capacity are particularly important for producers in central regions, forcing farms that need to free up storage space to sell grain more actively.

Corn prices have declined to UAH 7,100/t on a CPT terminal basis, while EXW prices stand at around UAH 5,750/t. The FCA price has fallen even more sharply to UAH 4,000/t, down UAH 1,699/t from the previous level. DAF corn is quoted at around $191/t. The wide gap between domestic and export-oriented delivery bases highlights the significant impact of transportation costs and access to export logistics on current grain prices.

The wheat market is relatively more stable, although prices are also being adjusted. Grade 2 wheat declined to UAH 8,833/t on a CPT terminal basis, while EXW remains at UAH 6,110/t. Grade 3 wheat is quoted at around UAH 8,490/t at terminals and UAH 5,700/t EXW. Grain delivered closer to port infrastructure therefore continues to command a substantial premium over offers at inland elevators.

New-crop supplies continue to influence the sunflower market. Sunflower seeds are being purchased at around UAH 16,162/t EXW, while processor bids stand at approximately UAH 16,667/t. High-oleic sunflower remains considerably more expensive at around UAH 18,250/t EXW and UAH 19,000/t for delivery to processors, maintaining a significant quality premium.

Soybean prices have risen to UAH 17,750/t on a CPT terminal basis, while EXW stands at UAH 16,817/t and processor bids at around UAH 16,900/t. FCA prices declined to UAH 16,000/t. Barley is quoted at approximately UAH 7,300/t on a CPT terminal basis. GMO rapeseed is trading at around UAH 22,000/t CPT terminal and UAH 21,000/t EXW, while Grade 1 non-GMO rapeseed is quoted at around UAH 20,000–20,700/t depending on the delivery basis.

As of October 19, 2026, Grade 2 wheat is being purchased at UAH 8,833/t, corn at UAH 7,100/t on a CPT terminal basis, barley at UAH 7,300/t, sunflower seeds at UAH 16,162/t EXW, soybeans at UAH 17,750/t on a CPT terminal basis, and GMO rapeseed at UAH 22,000/t.
