In the 2025/26 MY, Ukraine produced over 1.5 million tons of sugar

In the 2025/26 MY (as of January 1), 26 sugar refineries in Ukraine, which are members of the Ukrsugar association, produced 1,574 thousand tons of sugar, processing 10.43 million tons of sugar beets.

Compared to the previous season, sugar yield increased by 1.13% to 15.19%, in particular due to an increase in beet sugar content by 0.88% to 17.63%.

According to the association, 6 plants will continue processing sugar beets in January, and the processing season will end approximately by January 20, 2026.
