The Parliament plans to abolish the state regulation of sugar market

Parliament in the first reading supported the draft law No. 4532 "On recognizing some Laws of Ukraine on state regulation of sugar market is null and void," which repeals provisions of the Law "On state regulation of production and marketing of sugar", as it performs no task.

in Particular, lifted restrictions (quota A) for the supply of sugar on the domestic market and minimum prices for sugar and sugar beets.

the Association "Ukrtsukor" has repeatedly appealed to the authorities to cancel the state regulation of the sugar market, which has lost its relevance in the process of development of the world market and domestic sugar markets, and now thanked the deputies for supporting the sugar industry is in a critical condition because today the minimum prices above market.

this bill will help to improve the situation, because now the producers will not depend on highly variable quotas and will be able to freely conduct long-term investment that will contribute to the development of the industry.
