Precipitation in the Northern Hemisphere will contribute to the development of winter crops, but delay harvesting

Meteorologists for the next 7-10 days predict an increase in precipitation in Ukraine, the EU, Russia and the US corn belt, which will increase soil moisture reserves and improve the condition of winter crops.

In South America, in particular in the central part of Brazil, there is still a lack of moisture, which delays the sowing of soybeans and corn, the sowing area of which is planned to be significantly increased.

In the Midwest of the United States in the "corn belt" in the next 7-10 days will be dry weather with above-normal temperatures, which will accelerate the ripening of soybeans and corn, as well as harvesting. Light periodic rains will contribute to the development of winter crops.

The Southern and Northern Plains of the United States will also maintain dry and warm weather, which will accelerate the maturation of soybeans and corn, but winter wheat crops will experience a lack of precipitation.

Traders ' attention is focused on the weather in Canada and eastern Russia, where spring wheat and canola harvesting is coming to an end. Dry weather with light rains will allow you to complete harvesting within 10-14 days.

In the province of Saskatchewan, precipitation will decrease in the next 7-10 days, which will complete the harvesting of spring wheat and canola, which as of September 13 are threshed by 83% and 54%, respectively. In Manitoba, Wheat and canola are harvested in 90% and 63% of the area, and for 5 days the weather will remain dry, and then the rains will increase. In Alberta, precipitation will pass over the weekend, and then dry weather will prevail for 7-8 days.

In the south of Brazil, where winter wheat is grown, it rained again, which will last for another week. They will replenish the soil moisture reserves before sowing soybeans and corn. In the central regions, especially in the state of Mato Grosso, there is a drought that delays the sowing of soybeans. The rainy season has not yet begun, and precipitation is not expected until the end of September.

In Argentina, dry weather will prevail during the week with light precipitation, which will be insufficient for sowing winter wheat and replenishing soil moisture reserves before sowing soybeans and corn.

In Ukraine, heavy rains will fall during the week, which will contribute to the development of winter crops and increase moisture reserves before sowing, although they will delay the harvesting of soybeans and sunflowers, which already ripen later due to cold and wet weather in summer.

In the south and center of Russia, rain will fall within 3-5 days, which will help to get seedlings, and in the eastern regions, dry weather will allow you to complete the harvesting of spring wheat and activate the harvesting of late crops.
