The Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine declares that Black Sea ports continue to receive ships that passed through the temporary corridor

The movement of vessels through the grain corridor on October 24-26 was stopped by the military due to the increased threat from the Russian Federation. Nataliya Gumenyuk, the spokesperson of the Joint Coordination Center of OC "South", reported that Russian planes dropped four explosive devices (probably mines) in the area of the Black Sea trade route, which is why the military prohibited the movement of ships.

There were rumors in the market that the work of the corridor was stopped due to the authorities' fight against illegal exports, which led to the blocking of supplies from the Danube ports, but later.

But the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine reported that the information about stopping or canceling the movement of civilian ships through the temporary corridor to the ports of Great Odesa is not true. All routes established by the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are used, but taking into account weather conditions and the military situation that has developed due to the aggression of the Russian Federation.

In total, 51 vessels entered the ports of Odesa, Chornomorsk and Pivdenny through the new corridor, of which 23 are currently being loaded. And another 33 vessels have already transported more than 1.3 million tons of Ukrainian agricultural products and other cargo.

Censor.net sources in the president's office claim that the blocking of exports is related to the fight against shadow export of grain and the withdrawal of funds, as President Zelensky instructed to find new ways to replenish the budget, and the National Bank reported that a large part of the funds from grain exports do not return to the country , and in two years the shadow export (funds that did not return to the economy of Ukraine) of grain amounted to $21 billion, and in order to withdraw funds, shell companies are created that buy grain on an industrial scale for cash.

Sources in the OP also report that based on the information received, Zelensky ordered to immediately eliminate abuses in the export of grain and develop a new export procedure, which the government and the Security Service of Ukraine are currently actively working on. Already this week at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, the government should present new export rules.

Exports for cash, of course, must be stopped, because it causes losses to the state, but it exists precisely because of the abuse of the authorities, which allow the registration and operation of companies with fake founders and managers.

Transparency of the market and communication with its participants would allow us to avoid rumors about the suspension of exports, which negatively affect world prices and undermine confidence in Ukraine as a reliable supplier.
