Only 26% of French wheat meet exchange quality requirements

In Friday's report, the state Agency FranceAgrimer reported that the quality of French wheat of the new harvest is extremely variable. Most of the grain has a high protein content and low nature.

According to laboratory tests, 65% French soft wheat have protein content more than 12%, and only 6% contain below 11.5% protein, which is the minimum required for grain exports.

• and only 10% of wheat belong to the premium class A1 and have protein above 11.5 per cent, Naturno weight 77 kg per hectoliter and a falling number above 240 sec.
