The hryvnia on the interbank market during the week, strengthened by 1%

According to experts, the hryvnia on the interbank market continues to strengthen, and during last week, its exchange rate against the dollar has increased from 27,94/27,96 to 27.75/of 27.77 UAH/$.

Today's auction of government bonds will increase pressure on the dollar, because non-residents are actively buying hryvnia securities, which yield after increasing the discount rate of the NBU may be somewhat larger.

Experts expect that within a week, the hryvnia exchange rate will remain in the range of 27.6-27.8 million UAH/$, since the supply of currency will increase after the long weekend and thanks to the increase in income from non-residents that could once again force the Bank to buy the excess currency.
