KICAHUKA BACKGROUND KICHAUKA was created as Non- Profit Organization and registered under NGO act with registration No. S.O 14515. Her main goal was to improve the productivity and empowering the local community to manage its own natural resources through community participation in a sustainable way. On May 24th 2019 KICHAUKA Agricultural Marketing Co-operative Society Limited was registered under the Law of Co-operative Societies No.6 of 2013 Section 33. The aim is to deliver extension services through farmer groups in different villages at Karagwe and Kyerwa Districts in Kagera region in collaboration with Local Government Authorities. KICHAUKA DESCRIPTION KICHAUKA delivereS Extension services to farmer groups in different villages in Karagwe and Kyerwa district in Kagera region, Tanzania. The services includes but not limited to: Capacity building (enhancing farmers capacity in integrated production development and management of high value added crops, with emphasis on volume and quality), Technical support, Linking farmers to financial service provider and making credit available on affordable term and condition, Enabling small farmers get access to specific market by assisting them to understand necessary standard, and monitoring of farmer groups which are the keys for the fastest growing business and agriculture in the economy.
