AGERONA is a medium-sized company with four branches which are located in Poland, Lithaunia Estonia and Latvia. This enterprise is a dynamic and modern wholesale company for grain, legumes, rapeseed oil and animal feed. For almost two decades our activities have been steered and optimized by a professional team of employees, so that our business partners can always be guaranteed the same high quality, efficiency and transparency along the supply chain. In 2019, the company sold more than 400’000 tons of various products, reaching a turnover 90’000’000 euros. As the company is on a path to development so as the indicators are growing year by year reaching 450’000 tons in sales in 2020 and a turnover of 110’000’000 euros. Products are mainly purchased from farmers in the region of Baltics. In 2020, the company purchased more than 370’000 tons of various agricultural products on the local market of Latvia - wheat, oats, rapeseed, beans, peas, buckwheat and other crops. About a quarter of the sold products are also purchased in Belarus, Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan. SIA "Agerona" currently cooperates with more than 400 Latvian farmers, including organic farms, which account for about 5% of total exports. The main sales markets of the company's products are the countries of the European Union - Germany, Denmark, Great Britain, Poland, as well as the rest of Europe, such as Norway. The products are also sold in Africa and the Middle East. 5-10% of purchased products are also sold in the local market. For the third year in a row, the company has been successfully operating in the oil market - with an upward trend. We are able to provide the required quality, volume and lead time. Thanks to the fact that we can load tankers of various sizes and the experience of our employees, we managed to circulate about 35’000 tons of oil in the year of 2019 and 38’000 tons in the year of 2020. We have two oil tanks located in Liepaja port Special economic zone which can store 2’700 tones of oil, each. We have a very strong and developed logistics industry, which is managed by qualified logistics specialists, therefore we are able to respond quickly and qualitatively to various situations and offers. We have a high level of knowledge in international oil trade and we are very well versed in the terms of Gafta and Fosfa trade conditions. Nevertheless, we want to increase our volumes and for this reason we are looking for new cooperation partners. The focus of the AGERONA is on the collection of agricultural raw materials at the producers level, the marketing to regional and supraregional consumers as well as the performance- and customer-oriented contract execution. This is based on simple structures, fast information and communication channels and a network of offices spanning over Latvia, Lithuaunia, Estonia, Poland, Russia and Belarus. We are authorized and working with various international certificates - ISCC, GMP + and ISO/IEC, therefore, there is no limit to our trade area.
