Mykolaiv port Elevator was built in 1930. At the present time this company was one of the largest elevators in the state and Europe and the third world's real standard of home port Elevator construction. The main activity of the branch is implementation of export-import operations with grain and oilseeds, provision of services on reception, bringing the quality to the basic quality standards, storage and shipment of grain and oilseeds. The total service grain capacity of the subsidiary "of the Nikolaev port Elevator" is 69 thousand tons. The main storing cultures are wheat, barley, canola, sunflower. The subsidiary has own subsistence farm for growing crops on rented 2347 ha. Capacity of the branch for receiving/shipping of grain: the acceptance from rail – 3500 tons per day; acceptance from road – 3000 tons/day; shipment on water transport – 7,000 tons/day; shipment to rail – 2000 tons/day; shipment vehicles – 2000 t/day.
