Commercial sea port of Ust-Danube is located in the southern part of the Zhebriansky Bay of the Black sea and is in contact with the Ochakiv arm of the Danube river.
The port was created in the late 70-ies, first of all, for maintenance laterobasal transportation system. Ust-Danube provided the reception, safe Parking and handling of lighters, their accumulation for further transportation by river and sea. However, the work laterobasal system was discontinued.
Currently, the port specializes on transshipment of goods from sea vessels to river for further transport on the Danube and Vice versa.
