Ovostar Union PCL (Ovostar Union Group of Companies) is a vertically integrated public holding company, one of the leading manufacturers and exporters of chicken eggs and egg products. In Ukraine, the company's products are known under trademarks Yasensvit and Ovostar.
In 2018, Ovostar poultry farms produced 1.6 billion eggs, and the number of laying hens was 6.4 million.
The company is the first in Ukraine to launch the production of liquid and dry egg products under the TM Ovostar. Today, Ovostar Union products are exported to 55 countries — in the markets of the EU, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Africa. The company manages export sales through its own sales offices in Latvia and the OAU.
Ovostar Union is the only producer in Ukraine that uses cages for poultry that meet the requirements of Directive 1999/74/EC. The Yasensvit poultry factories and the Ovostar egg product factory successfully passed the audit of the European Commission and Bureau Veritas. This allowed the company to enter the top 5 egg suppliers in Europe. The production is certified according to ISO 9001:2008: ISO 22000:2005 (HACCP) and FSSC 22000, there are also Kosher and Halal certificates.
Group CEO and co-owner Boris Belikov states: “Investing in an environmentally friendly and healthy product is our long-term vision. The quality of both products and services is an offer to customers in the domestic and foreign markets. In this we are uncompromising.” With this approach Ovostar Union in 2018 increased sales in the Ukrainian market by 19%, and to other countries — by 11%. The group’s revenue in 2018 was $125 million, and its net profit was $17.5 million.
Ovostar Union created a vertically integrated production: a closed cycle begins with the manufacture of feed of plant origin and ends with its own distribution. Freshness of products has always been an advantage of the company. From the moment an egg is received to distribution by distribution channel, no more than 24 hours pass.
The group develops production sites, $17.6 million was invested in 2018.

In 2011, Ovostar Union launched an IPO on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
