Reduced forecast of yield of grain and rapeseed for the EU
In the July report services crop monitoring (MARS) forecast of productivity of some crops is reduced due to hot and dry conditions in the Northern and Central regions of Europe.
Assessment of yield of soft wheat was reduced relative to the June report by 3.7% to 5.82 t/ha, which is 4.9% yield indicator 2017 and 2.6% average 5-year level of productivity.
So, the yield of wheat in Germany will be reduced from projected in June of 7.75 t/ha to 7.1 t/ha, while in Poland – from 4.72 t/ha to 4.27 t/ha.

corn yield projection was increased from 7.35 to 7.64 t/ha,
for rapeseed yield projection was reduced from 3.05 to 2.89 t/ha, which is 12% below last year's level.
