The increase in demand from India supported the market of Ukrainian sunflower oil

According to the SMS of Ukraine, in January-June 2019, the country exported of 3.24 million tons of sunflower oil for the sum of 2,2 billion $, that is 12.9% higher than in the same period last year, when it was sold 2.87 million tonnes in the amount of 2.17 billion $.

the Largest buyer of Ukrainian sunflower oil was India, which has acquired 1.09 million tons in the amount of 740,5 million $. Second place went to China (397,9 thousand tons for 270,6 million $) and the Netherlands (330,5 thousand tons to 224,7 million $). In other countries it was generally shipped 1.42 million tons of oil in the amount of 968,4 million $.

the Increase in demand from India led to the growth of the award on it in the second quarter compared with the soybean oil to $100/t, despite the low level of world prices for palm oil.

In Ukraine, the oil from sunflower old crop continues to rise, as the proposals are almost absent. Therefore, India now buys Argentine sunflower oil at the price of 790 $/t CFR India.

Ukrainian sunflower oil is offered at 760-765 $/t FOB with delivery in August, equivalent to a price of 825 $/t СРУF, and at $740-750/MT FOB with delivery in September.

August futures on palm oil in Malaysia rose to 501 $/t due to the increase in forecast exports from the country in 2019/20 MG 1.1% to 18.2 million tonnes against the background of the steadily high demand from India, China, Pakistan and the EU.

Futures on owl oil in Chicago remain at the level of 637 $/tonne, despite a decline in soybean prices. The resumption of negotiations between the US and China supported prices, while trump's statement about the bad behavior of China, since he buys large shipments of American agricultural products, increases the pessimism of the market.
