Grain stocks in Ukraine at the beginning of September exceeded last year's by 10.1 million tons

According to the State Statistics Service, as of September 1, stocks of grain and leguminous crops in Ukraine amounted to 24.6 million tons, which is 10.1 million tons more than on the same date last year.

Agricultural enterprises stored 18.4 million tons of grain and leguminous crops, which is 64.4% more than in the previous year. Another 6.2 million tons were stored at enterprises engaged in processing and storage, which is 88.4% more than last year.

Wheat stocks at the beginning of September amounted to 14.6 million tons (+31.6% by September 1, 2025), corn - 2.8 million tons (+2.1 times), barley - 2.5 million tons (+83.71%), rye - 166.9 thousand tons (+2.1 times).

At the same time, oilseed stocks were lower than last year: soybeans — 363.5 thousand tons (-8.4%), sunflower seeds — 768.2 thousand tons (-6.6%).
