Stocks of grain and sunflower in Ukraine reduced

According to the state service of statistics of Ukraine, as of 1 September 2016, the supply of grain and sunflower in Ukraine totaled 24,439 million, including:

• wheat 17,703 million tons,
• barley 4,058 tons,
• corn 1,335 tons,
• sunflower 707 thousand tons,
• rye 194 thousand tons.

indicates the number of stocks at 2.7 million tons less than for September 1, 2015, and the number of sunflower compared to the previous year decreased by 16 thousand tons.

According to the state statistics service, directly agricultural enterprises at that date was kept 14,878 million tons of grain, and the companies engaged in storage and processing – 9,561 million.

Ukraine has already exported almost 5 million tons of wheat, and a similar pace of grain exports could lead to lower ending stocks at the end of Mr.
