Ukraine has completed the sowing of spring crops. At the same time, the area under corn and sunflower did not increase, as analysts expected, but the area under soybeans increased again. Given the oversaturation of the world soybean market for two seasons, as well as forecasts of further crop growth in Brazil, this may put even more pressure on soybean prices in Ukraine.

Processors in Ukraine have begun to actively reduce purchase prices for sunflower against the background of a reduction in the number of factories conducting purchases. Prices have fallen to a level of about 25,000 UAH/t with delivery to the factory. Rye prices in Ukraine reached record values ​​at the end of the season — 13,000–14,000 UAH/t due to limited stocks, which caused an increase in rye supplies from Poland and rye flour from the Baltic countries. The deficit is expected to persist in the next season.
