Purchase prices for grains in Ukraine on October 7, 2026

At the beginning of the second week of October, pressure from the new harvest on Ukraine's corn market is intensifying. Increasing physical grain supplies as harvesting progresses are encouraging producers to sell more actively, particularly in regions with limited storage capacity. At the same time, high transportation costs to ports and other export channels continue to create a substantial gap between farm-level prices and export benchmarks.

Corn has declined to around UAH 7,900/t on a CPT terminal basis, UAH 5,500/t EXW and UAH 5,900/t FCA. Pressure is particularly strong in central regions, where increasing new-crop supplies coincide with the need to free up elevator and storage capacity. The export benchmark remains around $203/t DAF and $270/t CIF, making logistics one of the key factors shaping domestic prices.

Wheat is showing considerably greater resilience. Grade 2 wheat on a CPT terminal basis has increased to UAH 8,903/t, while Grade 3 wheat is quoted at UAH 8,785/t. EXW prices stand at approximately UAH 6,655/t and UAH 6,150/t respectively. However, some domestic delivery bases are weaker, with FCA bids for Grade 3 wheat declining to around UAH 5,700/t.

The sunflower market remains mixed. EXW prices have declined to around UAH 17,279/t, while CPT processor bids are approximately UAH 17,667/t and some FCA bids have risen to UAH 19,000/t. The substantial spread between delivery bases indicates differences in buyer activity and localized processor demand for raw materials.

Soybean prices also vary considerably depending on the delivery basis. CPT terminal prices have increased to UAH 18,000/t, while EXW remains around UAH 16,650/t and CPT processor bids around UAH 17,000/t. FCA bids have declined to approximately UAH 15,500/t. Barley is holding at around UAH 7,100/t on a CPT terminal basis, while GMO rapeseed is quoted at approximately UAH 22,000/t on the same basis.

As of October 7, 2026, Grade 2 wheat is being purchased at UAH 8,903/t, corn at UAH 7,900/t on a CPT terminal basis and UAH 5,500/t EXW, barley at UAH 7,100/t, sunflower seeds at UAH 17,279/t, soybeans at UAH 16,650/t EXW, and GMO rapeseed at UAH 22,000/t. Current procurement prices for grain and oilseed crops by region and delivery basis are provided in the table below.
