Purchase prices for grains in Ukraine on October 5, 2026
In early October, Ukraine's grain market remains influenced by the active harvesting of late-season crops and increasing new-crop supplies. Corn continues to face the strongest pressure, while wheat prices remain relatively stable. At the same time, sunflower prices vary significantly depending on the delivery basis, while the soybean market is showing mixed dynamics.
Corn is currently being purchased at around UAH 8,050/t on a CPT terminal basis, UAH 6,500/t EXW and approximately UAH 6,000/t FCA. The significant gap between port and domestic prices highlights the continuing importance of logistics. In central regions, pressure is being intensified by the ongoing harvest, farmers' need to free up storage capacity and high transportation costs to export channels. Export benchmarks are around $203/t DAF and $270/t CIF.
Wheat remains considerably more stable. Grade 2 wheat is trading at around UAH 8,817/t on a CPT terminal basis, while Grade 3 wheat is quoted at UAH 8,736/t. EXW prices stand at approximately UAH 6,655/t and UAH 6,150/t respectively. Barley has strengthened to around UAH 7,100/t on a CPT terminal basis, although processor bids remain considerably lower at approximately UAH 5,885/t.
Sunflower prices vary significantly depending on the delivery basis. Sunflower seeds are being purchased at around UAH 17,350/t EXW, approximately UAH 18,000/t on a CPT processor basis and UAH 17,000/t FCA. This price spread indicates competition for raw materials among individual buyers and differences in processors' need to replenish inventories.
Soybean prices are holding at around UAH 16,650/t EXW, approximately UAH 17,000/t on a CPT terminal basis and UAH 17,000/t on a CPT processor basis. FCA bids are lower at around UAH 15,500/t. Non-GMO rapeseed is quoted at approximately UAH 22,500/t EXW, while GMO rapeseed is around UAH 21,500/t on a CPT terminal basis.
As of October 5, 2026, Grade 2 wheat is being purchased at UAH 8,817/t, corn at UAH 8,050/t on a CPT terminal basis and UAH 6,500/t EXW, barley at UAH 7,100/t, sunflower seeds at UAH 17,350/t, soybeans at UAH 16,650/t, and non-GMO rapeseed at UAH 22,500/t.
