Purchase prices for grains in Ukraine on June 5, 2025

Jordan held another tender for the purchase of feed barley, where it again purchased cheap barley from Europe, so prices for Ukrainian barley of the new crop will remain under pressure.

 

The Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine announced its first pessimistic forecast for the grain and oilseed harvest in Ukraine, which is significantly lower than USDA estimates.

 

India sharply increased vegetable oil imports in May due to an increase in cheap palm oil supplies, so this will not affect sunflower or soybean oil prices in Ukraine.

 

Rapeseed prices in the EU remain low despite a slight reduction in the harvest forecast, while in Ukraine prices are quite high at the start of the season.
