The sharp drop in corn quotes in Paris by almost 6 percent in one day confirms the low demand for corn in Europe and increases pressure on corn prices in Ukraine, which fell to $225/t with delivery to the port (provided delivery by June 10-15).

 

Processors have sharply reduced soybean prices, as they are experiencing problems with the sale of meal for export, and exporters cannot compete with American soybeans, which are intensively entering the market.

 

Sunflower prices in Ukraine have fallen by another 500-700 UAH/t over the week amid increased production forecasts for the new season and low demand for sunflower oil, caused by the fall in soybean oil prices.
