Purchase prices for grains in Ukraine on September 29, 2026
Ukraine's corn market remains one of the most volatile as new-crop supplies continue to enter the market. Following the sharp decline at the end of last week, prices have partially recovered, with corn currently quoted at around UAH 6,500/t EXW. At the same time, FCA bids have declined to UAH 6,300/t, indicating that significant pressure on the domestic market remains.
The advancing harvest, increasing physical grain supplies and farmers' need to free up storage capacity remain the key factors affecting the market. The pressure is particularly noticeable in central regions located farther from major export channels. High transportation costs are widening the gap between domestic and export prices, with corn still quoted at around $203/t DAF. As a result, farm-level prices can remain under pressure even when export benchmarks are relatively stable.
The sunflower market is showing initial signs of stabilization following the previous decline. The EXW price has edged up to UAH 17,279/t, while some FCA bids have risen to UAH 17,000/t. However, the market remains sensitive to new-crop supplies and processor demand. Soybeans are holding around UAH 16,650/t EXW, while CPT and FCA bids have strengthened slightly.
Wheat remains considerably more stable than corn. Grade 2 wheat is trading at around UAH 8,815/t on a CPT terminal basis, while Grade 3 wheat is at UAH 8,731/t. Barley is also little changed at around UAH 6,500/t. Non-GMO rapeseed is quoted at approximately UAH 22,500/t EXW.
As of September 29, 2026, Grade 2 wheat is being purchased at UAH 8,815/t, corn at UAH 6,500/t, barley at UAH 6,500/t, sunflower seeds at UAH 17,279/t, soybeans at UAH 16,650/t, and rapeseed at UAH 22,500/t.
