The latest tender for the purchase of barley in Jordan demonstrated a fairly low level of prices for feed barley of the new crop, so if favorable weather conditions persist, prices in Ukraine will remain under pressure from low export demand.
Uncertainty with duties imposed by Trump on imported goods continues to negatively affect the two largest economies in the world - China and the United States, which increases pressure on oil and commodity prices, so grain prices will also fall.
In Ukraine, demand for corn of the old crop remains quite high, since sellers require traders completing the formation of the last export lots, prices at the level of $ 240 / t with delivery to the port, but buyers are not ready to pay more than $ 230 / t. Major international traders have already suspended the purchase of corn, which confirms the fall in export demand for expensive Ukrainian grain.
