Purchase prices for grains in Ukraine on September 25, 2026
Pressure from the new harvest on Ukraine's domestic corn market has intensified sharply. The EXW procurement price has fallen to UAH 5,500/t, losing another UAH 1,050/t. For comparison, this benchmark stood at around UAH 7,200/t on September 21, meaning the decline has reached approximately UAH 1,700/t in just a few days.
The strongest pressure is being felt in inland and central regions, where increasing arrivals of new-crop corn are boosting supply. Farms with limited storage capacity are being encouraged to sell grain more actively, while high transportation costs to ports significantly reduce farm-level prices. The gap between domestic and export markets remains notable: corn is quoted at around $203/t DAF, while domestic EXW prices continue to decline.
Sunflower also remains under pressure from the new harvest. The EXW price has fallen to UAH 17,286/t, although bids on other delivery bases reach UAH 17,875–19,000/t. Soybeans are more stable at around UAH 16,650/t EXW, with modest gains recorded on some delivery bases. GMO rapeseed remains around UAH 21,500/t on a CPT terminal basis.
Wheat continues to show considerably less volatility. Grade 2 wheat remains at UAH 8,850/t on a CPT terminal basis, while Grade 3 wheat is around UAH 8,763/t. Barley is also holding near UAH 6,500/t, although some FCA bids have declined to UAH 6,000/t.
As of September 25, 2026, Grade 2 wheat is being purchased at UAH 8,850/t, corn at UAH 5,500/t, barley at UAH 6,500/t, sunflower seeds at UAH 17,286/t, soybeans at UAH 16,650/t, and rapeseed at UAH 21,500/t.
