Purchase prices for grains in Ukraine on September 24, 2026
Pressure from the new harvest on Ukraine's corn market continues to intensify. The most significant decline is being seen in inland regions, where the EXW corn price has fallen to UAH 6,550/t. By comparison, it was around UAH 7,200/t on September 21, representing a decline of about UAH 650/t in just a few days.
The situation is particularly significant for producers in central Ukraine. The advancing harvest is increasing new-crop supplies, the need to free up storage capacity is encouraging sales, and high transportation costs to ports and other export channels are adding further pressure to domestic procurement prices. Export prices remain more resilient, with corn quoted at around $203/t DAF, highlighting the significant impact of logistics and delivery basis on domestic prices.
Sunflower prices are also continuing to decline. The EXW price has fallen to UAH 17,357/t, while some bids delivered to processors are around UAH 19,100/t. Soybeans have eased to UAH 16,650/t EXW, although export prices have strengthened on some delivery bases. Non-GMO rapeseed remains near UAH 23,000/t.
The wheat market remains considerably more stable. Grade 2 wheat is being purchased at around UAH 8,850/t on a CPT terminal basis, while Grade 3 wheat is at UAH 8,763/t. Barley also remains around UAH 6,500/t.
As of September 24, 2026, Grade 2 wheat is being purchased at UAH 8,850/t, corn at UAH 6,550/t, barley at UAH 6,500/t, sunflower seeds at UAH 17,357/t, soybeans at UAH 16,650/t, and rapeseed at UAH 23,000/t.
