Purchase prices for grains in Ukraine on October 23, 2026
Grain procurement prices in Ukraine continue to adjust in late October. The most noticeable decline is currently occurring in the wheat market, while corn has also weakened slightly on a port delivery basis. Soybeans are moving in the opposite direction, with several procurement prices increasing and higher price levels being recorded for deliveries toward export terminals.
Corn declined by UAH 100/t to UAH 7,000/t on a CPT terminal basis, while the EXW price remains around UAH 6,000/t. FCA corn is being purchased at approximately UAH 5,000/t. At the same time, the DAF price increased by $10/t to $201/t. A substantial gap between domestic and export-oriented delivery bases therefore remains. New-crop arrivals and the need to free up storage capacity may continue to put pressure on domestic prices, particularly for producers in central regions located farther from major export channels.
The clearest downward movement is currently seen in wheat. Grade 2 wheat declined by UAH 166/t to UAH 8,652/t on a CPT terminal basis. Grade 3 wheat lost UAH 125/t and is quoted at around UAH 8,350/t, while FCA bids stand at UAH 5,500/t. Grade 4 wheat also declined by UAH 166/t to UAH 7,334/t CPT terminal. The simultaneous decline across several wheat grades indicates increased pressure on the segment, although grain delivered to port infrastructure continues to command a substantial premium over some inland delivery bases.
Sunflower prices remain close to their previous levels. Sunflower seeds are being purchased at around UAH 15,714/t EXW, while processor bids stand at approximately UAH 16,333/t. High-oleic sunflower continues to command a substantial premium, although its EXW price declined by UAH 250/t to UAH 18,000/t. Processor bids for high-oleic sunflower stand at around UAH 18,500/t.
Soybeans are showing stronger price dynamics than most major crops. The CPT terminal price has increased to UAH 18,333/t. EXW soybeans gained UAH 70/t to UAH 16,850/t, while processor bids stand at around UAH 17,000/t. FCA prices increased to UAH 16,500/t. Non-GMO soybeans are quoted at approximately UAH 18,167/t EXW. The gap between port and domestic prices indicates that export-oriented demand currently provides a higher price benchmark for soybeans.
Barley declined by UAH 50/t to UAH 7,250/t on a CPT terminal basis, while FCA bids stand at around UAH 5,500/t. GMO rapeseed remains at approximately UAH 22,000/t CPT terminal. Grade 1 non-GMO rapeseed is quoted at around UAH 21,200/t CPT terminal and UAH 20,400/t EXW, while another non-GMO rapeseed category is quoted at around UAH 21,100/t for delivery toward terminals.
As of October 23, 2026, Grade 2 wheat is being purchased at UAH 8,652/t, corn at UAH 7,000/t and barley at UAH 7,250/t on a CPT terminal basis, sunflower seeds at UAH 15,714/t EXW, soybeans at UAH 18,333/t CPT terminal, and GMO rapeseed at UAH 22,000/t. Current procurement prices for grain and oilseed crops by region and delivery basis are provided in the table below.
