The US joining Israel in its strikes on Iran has heightened concerns about the war spreading across the Middle East and continues to push up oil prices. But the situation in Iran could change dramatically, as it did in Syria, so oil prices could rise or fall.
High oil prices support the prices of raw materials for biofuels, so quotes for rapeseed and corn on exchanges are rising again.
The rise in fuel prices in Ukraine will lead to an increase in the cost of agricultural products, so we should not expect a further drop in grain prices in the new season.
