Purchase prices for grains in Ukraine on September 21, 2026
Pressure from the new harvest on Ukraine's corn market is intensifying. As harvesting progresses, grain supplies are increasing, particularly in the central regions, where producers need to free up storage capacity for the new crop. At the same time, high transportation costs to ports and other export channels are reducing the prices traders can offer in producing regions. Against this background, the EXW corn price has fallen to UAH 7,200/t, although some FCA bids have recovered slightly to UAH 6,800/t.
The wheat market remains considerably more stable. Grade 2 wheat is holding at UAH 8,900/t on a CPT terminal basis, while Grade 3 wheat is trading at around UAH 8,725/t. Barley is also showing little change at approximately UAH 6,500/t on a CPT terminal basis.
Among oilseeds, sunflower remains under the strongest pressure. The EXW price has declined to UAH 18,007/t, while bids on other delivery bases are around UAH 18,000–20,000/t. Soybeans are holding near UAH 16,833/t, although prices vary significantly depending on the delivery basis. Rapeseed remains relatively stable, with non-GMO rapeseed quoted at approximately UAH 23,000/t EXW.
As of September 21, 2026, Grade 2 wheat is being purchased at UAH 8,900/t, corn at UAH 7,200/t, barley at UAH 6,500/t, sunflower seeds at UAH 18,007/t, soybeans at UAH 16,833/t, and rapeseed at UAH 23,000/t.
