Purchase prices for grains in Ukraine on May 21, 2025

The weighted average purchase price of grains and oilseeds in Ukraine on CPT terminals, EXW elevators, CPT processors, FCA, CPT dollar, FOB, DAF, CIF

 

Against the backdrop of falling prices for feed wheat and later for corn, prices for meal have begun to fall, which may further lead to a decline in sunflower prices.

Purchase prices for sunflower delivered to the factory in Ukraine remain stable due to increased trading activity, but falling prices for oil and meal may put pressure on sunflower prices as early as June.

 

High demand for corn in Ukraine from traders who need to buy additional volumes for export has stopped the decline in corn prices. However, the introduction of a new EU tariff policy on exports from Ukraine will increase pressure on wheat and corn prices from June 6.

Forward prices for rapeseed are supported by rising prices for rapeseed and canola on exchanges.
