In Ukraine, there is still little trading activity amid declining grain stocks and prices for the new harvest.
Global vegetable oil quotes on stock exchanges have risen amid a sharp rise in oil prices, but physical prices for soybean oil in China and Brazil and sunflower oil in Ukraine and India remain almost unchanged, as buyers are still actively buying cheaper palm oil.
A sharp increase in wheat and rapeseed yields in Romania and Bulgaria will increase competition with Ukrainian and Russian grain in the markets, which will be especially felt at the beginning of the new season.
