Purchase prices for grains in Ukraine on September 17, 2026
Ukraine's corn market remains under pressure from the new harvest. Supplies are gradually increasing in the central regions as harvesting progresses, while limited storage capacity is encouraging some producers to market their grain more quickly. At the same time, high transportation costs to ports and other export channels continue to limit procurement prices in inland regions. Corn is currently quoted at around UAH 7,525/t on an EXW basis and UAH 8,000/t delivered to processors.
Pressure remains even more pronounced in the sunflower market. The EXW price is holding at UAH 18,008/t, while some processor bids have declined by another UAH 250/t to UAH 17,500/t. Increasing new-crop supplies are strengthening competition among sellers, although some sunflower seed bids have risen to UAH 20,000/t, highlighting significant differences between delivery bases and purchasing terms.
Grade 2 wheat remains relatively firm at UAH 8,900/t on a CPT terminal basis, while barley is trading around UAH 6,500/t. Soybeans remain near UAH 16,833/t, with some delivery bases showing modest gains. Rapeseed is also showing localized strengthening: GMO rapeseed has risen to UAH 21,500/t on a CPT terminal basis, while non-GMO rapeseed is quoted at around UAH 23,000/t EXW.
As of September 17, 2026, Grade 2 wheat is being purchased at UAH 8,900/t, corn at UAH 8,000/t, barley at UAH 6,500/t, sunflower seeds at UAH 18,008/t, soybeans at UAH 16,833/t, and rapeseed at UAH 23,000/t.
