The idea of the deputies to introduce a 10% duty on soybean and rapeseed exports starting July 1 could significantly reduce the prices of these crops in Ukraine in the coming week.
Forward prices for rapeseed in Ukraine increased by another $10-15/t in a week, although prices on the Paris stock exchange remained unchanged, while oil prices rose by 9% and Canadian canola by 4.6%. This indicates an increase in supply in the EU against the background of minimal demand.
Wheat prices fell slightly again during the week, and the results of recent importer tenders show an increase in supply and a drop in prices.
