Purchase prices for grains in Ukraine on October 16, 2026
Ukraine's grain market in the second half of October remains influenced by strong new-crop supplies and a substantial gap between domestic and export-oriented delivery bases. Corn continues to face the most noticeable pressure, while milling wheat maintains higher price levels in the port direction. For producers in central regions, harvesting progress, available storage capacity and transportation costs to export channels remain key pricing factors.
Price differences between delivery bases remain particularly wide in the corn market. CPT terminal prices have declined to UAH 7,700/t, while EXW corn is quoted at around UAH 5,750/t. At the same time, FCA bids increased sharply by UAH 1,035/t to UAH 7,000/t. Some buyers are therefore raising procurement prices, although abundant new-crop supplies continue to limit the potential for a sustained recovery in the domestic market. DAF corn is quoted at around $190/t.
Wheat also shows a substantial gap between port and domestic prices. Grade 2 wheat is quoted at around UAH 8,902/t on a CPT terminal basis compared with UAH 6,110/t EXW. For Grade 3 wheat, the port price has declined to UAH 8,513/t, while EXW stands at UAH 5,500/t. FCA Grade 3 wheat remains at UAH 5,700/t. This indicates that export demand continues to support grain delivered closer to port infrastructure.
Sunflower prices are showing relative stabilization following the previous decline. EXW prices edged higher to UAH 16,763/t, while CPT processor bids stand at around UAH 16,667/t. High-oleic sunflower continues to command a premium at approximately UAH 18,250/t EXW and UAH 19,000/t in the processor market. This highlights the increasing importance of quality characteristics and the procurement needs of individual processing plants.
Soybeans are quoted at around UAH 17,000/t on a CPT terminal basis, UAH 16,850/t EXW and UAH 17,133/t on a CPT processor basis. FCA bids declined by UAH 508/t to UAH 16,000/t. Barley is trading at around UAH 7,033/t on a CPT terminal basis, while GMO rapeseed is quoted at approximately UAH 22,000/t. Grade 1 non-GMO rapeseed is valued at around UAH 20,700/t EXW.
As of October 16, 2026, Grade 2 wheat is being purchased at UAH 8,902/t, corn at UAH 7,700/t on a CPT terminal basis and UAH 5,750/t EXW, barley at UAH 7,033/t, sunflower seeds at UAH 16,763/t, soybeans at UAH 16,850/t EXW, and GMO rapeseed at UAH 22,000/t. Current procurement prices for grain and oilseed crops by region and delivery basis are provided in the table below.
