Ukraine's grain market in mid-October remains influenced by increasing new-crop supplies and a substantial gap between prices in inland regions and those linked to export infrastructure. Corn remains under the strongest pressure, while food wheat prices in the port direction are showing considerably greater resilience.
Corn is trading at around UAH 8,000/t on a CPT terminal basis, compared with approximately UAH 6,000/t EXW and UAH 5,800/t FCA. In central regions, the main factors remain increasing new-crop supplies, the need to free up storage capacity and the high cost of transporting grain to export channels. A gap of more than UAH 2,000/t between some inland and port-related delivery bases demonstrates the significant impact logistics currently have on the effective corn price received by producers.
Wheat remains considerably more stable. Grade 2 wheat is quoted at UAH 8,902/t on a CPT terminal basis, Grade 3 at UAH 8,683/t and Grade 4 at UAH 7,605/t. Inland prices are weaker, however: Grade 3 wheat is around UAH 5,500/t EXW, while the FCA price has fallen by UAH 750/t to UAH 5,700/t. Port-oriented demand therefore continues to provide considerably stronger price indications than sales on the domestic market.
The sunflower market also shows a significant spread between delivery bases. Sunflower seeds are quoted at approximately UAH 16,961/t EXW and UAH 17,000/t on a CPT processor basis. High-oleic sunflower commands higher prices of around UAH 18,500–19,000/t, reflecting the premium for its quality characteristics.
Soybeans are trading at around UAH 16,850/t EXW and UAH 17,133/t on a CPT processor basis, while FCA prices have fallen to approximately UAH 15,500/t. Non-GMO soybeans command a substantial premium, reaching UAH 21,000/t FCA. Barley is holding near UAH 7,100/t on a CPT terminal basis, while GMO rapeseed is quoted at around UAH 22,000/t.
As of October 13, 2026, Grade 2 wheat is being purchased at UAH 8,902/t, corn at UAH 8,000/t on a CPT terminal basis, barley at UAH 7,100/t, sunflower seeds at UAH 16,961/t, soybeans at UAH 16,850/t EXW, and GMO rapeseed at UAH 22,000/t. Current procurement prices for grain and oilseed crops by region and delivery basis are provided in the table below.
