According to Ukroliyaprom estimates, as of June 1, 2.16 million tons of sunflower seeds remained in Ukraine.
According to the calculations of the Ukroliyaprom association regarding the resources and use of oilseeds in the 2025/26 MY, as of June 1, sunflower residues in Ukraine amounted to 2.16 million tons.
According to the association, total sunflower stocks in the current season amounted to 10.6 million tons, of which 10.2 million tons are provided by domestic production. Over the nine months of the season, 8.41 million tons of sunflower were processed in the country.
Soybean stocks as of June 1 amounted to 1.12 million tons, and total stocks for the season reached 5.35 million tons, of which almost 2 million tons were exported.
Rapeseed residues as of June 1 amounted to only 254 thousand tons, and total stocks for the season reached 3.44 million tons, of which 1.86 million tons were exported.
According to the association, a significant part of sunflower and rapeseed was used for domestic processing. During the season, 8.41 million tons of sunflower, 1.32 million tons of rapeseed and 2.23 million tons of soybean were processed into oil, while soybean exports were also quite significant, reaching 1.99 million tons.
At the end of the season, sunflower occupies the largest share among the transitional stocks of oilseeds, while rapeseed begins the new season with minimal residues.
