According to Ukrzaliznytsia, in April the cost of agricultural logistics decreased by 7.67-31.62%

In April, the cost of transportation of grain cargoes by wagons of Ukrzaliznytsia decreased by 7.67-31.62% depending on the direction of delivery, V. Tkachev, deputy director of the company's commercial work department, said on his Facebook page.

He noted that in view of the acceleration of the movement of grain trucks in April and the decrease in the market value of their use at the "Prozorro.Prodazhi" auctions, the total cost of transporting grain over a distance of 655-710 km by the company's wagons was (excluding VAT):

• for export to sea ports – $22.1-23.6/t (-10.4%)
• for export in the direction of western crossings - $38.5/t (-7.67%).
• on domestic and import connections – $22.9-23.6/t (-31.62%).

"The total cost of transportation takes into account the transportation tariff, the cost of using UZ wagons (UAH 1,822.5/day without VAT), additional fees and payments at departure stations (UAH 3,500/wagon) and the two-day cost of using the UZ grain truck for loading," said V Tkachev.
