According to Ukrsugar, the volume of sugar production in the current season is actually equal to the figures for 2023.

In the 2024/25 MY, 28 factories that are members of the National Association of Sugar Producers of Ukraine ("Ukrsugar") produced 1.7 million tons of sugar. This was reported by the acting chairman of the board of "Ukrsugar" Yana Kavushevska.

She noted that the total volume of sugar production is estimated at 1.8 million tons. This figure includes the production of a plant that is not a member of the Association and does not provide production data.

"Thus, production volumes in 2024 practically correspond to the level of 2023, when 1.826 million tons of sugar were produced," Kavushevska emphasized.

In 2024, Ukraine achieved a record sugar export figure, supplying 746.3 thousand tons of products worth $419 million to world markets.
