In 18 days of September, Ukraine exported 4 million tons of agricultural products

During September 1-18, Ukraine exported 3.9 million tons of grain, legumes, oil crops and their processing products, which is twice the figure of the first 15 days of August.

According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, 1.7 million tons of agricultural products were exported through grain corridors in August, and 2.2 million tons from September 1 to 19.

The main export crop remains corn, of which 1.3 million tons were shipped in September (compared to 0.822 million tons for August 1-15), and in total during the war period - almost 7 million tons.

The second position is occupied by wheat, the export of which increased in September compared to the first half of August from 400,000 tons to 1 million tons, and in the last 6.5 months it reached 2.5 million tons.

In addition, compared to the first half of August, during the period September 1-18, the export of the following products almost doubled:

• sunflower oil - up to 365 thousand tons,
• rapeseed - up to 577 thousand tons,
• soybeans - up to 125 thousand tons,
• barley - 1.5 times from 74 to 189 thousand tons,
• sunflower seeds - by 13% to 108 thousand tons,
• soybean oil - only by 2.5 thousand tons to 16.5 thousand tons,
• meal - by 102 thousand tons to 271 thousand tons.

The share of individual crops in the total amount of agricultural products shipped from Ukraine in the first half of September is:

• corn - 32%,
• wheat – 25.81%,
• rapeseed - 14.74%,
• sunflower oil – 9.31%,
• meal – 6.92%,
• barley - 4.82%,
• soybeans - 3.19%,
• sunflower seeds - 2.76%,
• soybean oil - 0.42%.

According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine, almost 2.9 million tons of agricultural products exported from Ukraine during the first two weeks of September were shipped through ports, 622 thousand tons by rail, 379 thousand tons by road transport, and 18.2 thousand tons by ferries.
