From November 1, the rules for road transport through Poland are changing

Since November 1, the SENT system has been introduced for cargo transportation on the territory of Poland, which provides for mandatory registration for carriers from third countries, which means for Ukrainian ones as well. The State Service of Ukraine for Transport Safety (Ukrtransbezpeka) reported this on its Facebook page.
Starting from November 1, in the new system, it is necessary to register transportation under one-time permits, under ECMT transportation permits, as well as transportation for which permits are not required (for example, in accordance with the Agreement on the Liberalization of Freight Transportation), i.e., in fact, all types of transportation that will be performed by foreign carriers
On October 9, the Senate of Poland adopted a law according to which, when registering in the SENT system, the carrier must specify the data on the foreign person carrying out the transport, the details of the sender, the data of the recipient, the place and date of the start and end of the transport on the territory of Poland, the countries of loading and unloading, numbers transport document for cargo and permission, etc.
After registration in the system, the message is assigned a control number, without which the driver must refrain from transporting the cargo.
"Thus, registration in the SENT system will allow control over all cargo transportation on the territory of Poland," Ukrtransbezpec reported.
At the same time, the Ministry of Infrastructure of Poland reports on the development of the procedure for the foreign carrier carrying out transportation to or through the territory of Poland. The new order will be demonstrated to all interested parties in the near future.
