Corn yield in Ukraine is 17% worse togoro

As of December 1, in Ukraine was 14.1 million hectares harvested 60.3 million tonnes of grain with an average yield of 4,26 t/ha.

Millet 100% obmolocheno squares or 56 thousand hectares collected 83 thousand tons with a yield of 1,49 t/ha.

Corn yields of 5,37 t/ha (in 2016 – 6.32 t/ha) harvested 22 million tons from the area of 4.1 million hectares, which is 91% of the planned 4.5 million hectares.

Sunflower from 5.92 million hectares (99% of the planned area of 5.96 million hectares) accounts for 11.9 million tons with a yield of 2.01 t/ha (in 2016 – 2.27 t/ha).

Soybean 1.9 million hectares (98% of planned 2 million hectares) accounts for 3.8 million tons with a yield of 1.93 t/ha (in 2016 – 2.29 n/ha).

Sugar beet with 315 thousand hectares (99% of the planned 318 thousand hectares) harvested 14.5 million tons with a yield of 46.0 t/ha (in 2016 – 48.2 t/ha), and dispatch to plant  13.3 million tons.

• Fully completed harvesting buckwheat, of which 181 thousand hectares collected 200 thousand tons with a yield of 1.11 t/ha (in 2016 – 1.28 t/ha).

Grain winter crops for the harvest-2018 sown 6.9 million hectares or 96% of the planned 7.2 million hectares.

rye 147 thousand hectares or 93% of the planned 158 thousand hectares,

High global corn harvest lowered the price of grain and heightened competition for markets that worsened the rate of export of Ukrainian corn. The decrease in yields and gross harvest of corn in Ukraine offset by the growth of the crop in the US, so the purchase prices remain at 148-149 $/t for December deliveries at the port. For the supply of maize in January - February, traders offer 151-153 $/ton, because at this time South America will complete the delivery of maize for markets and competition of domestic grain will be only American corn.
