On the night of July 24, the Russian Federation attacked the Danube ports of Ukraine with "Shahed" drones, as a result of which there was damage to the infrastructure and victims, - said the spokeswoman of the Southern Secondary School N. Humenyuk.

Three enemy drones were shot down by air defense systems of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but others hit the port, destroyed a grain hangar, tanks for storing other cargo, and some other port facilities. Currently, four port workers are known to have been injured, and the consequences of the almost 4-hour attack are being clarified.

The head of Odesa OVA, O. Kiper, reports that after a drone hit a hangar with grain in one of the technical premises, a fire broke out, which was promptly extinguished, and the number of victims due to the Russian attack increased to 6 people. Four were hospitalized, one of them is in a moderate condition, but doctors managed to stabilize the patient. The other three people have minor shrapnel wounds from the beatings and are currently receiving all the necessary medical care.

This time, the target of the four-hour attack by "Shahed-136" drones was the port infrastructure of the Danube River, - said the head of OVA.

After the Russian Federation announced its withdrawal from the grain agreement, it attacked the port infrastructure of Odesa throughout the week, destroying not only ports, but also residential buildings. Thus, during the attack on July 23, 22 people were injured, one died, residential buildings and historical monuments, including the Savior and Transfiguration Cathedral, suffered significant destruction.
