The first million tons of grain were collected in Ukraine

According to the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine, as of July 6, from 308.2 thousand hectares or 3% of the planned area, domestic farmers harvested 1.024 million tons of grain and leguminous crops with an average yield of 33.2 tons/ha.

In terms of cultures, the dynamics of harvesting work is as follows:

• barley - from 235 thousand ha or 16% of the area, 805.8 thousand tons were threshed with a yield of 34.3 tons/ha,
• wheat - from 51.4 thousand ha or 1% of the area, 172 thousand tons were harvested with a yield of 33.5 tons/ha,
• peas - from 21.7 thousand ha or 15% of the area, 45.8 thousand tons were harvested with a yield of 21.1 tons/ha.

Harvesting has begun in 12 oblasts of Ukraine, and the leaders of the gross harvest are the agricultural producers of the Mykolayiv region, who threshed 118 thousand hectares or 19% of the planned area. At the same time, the largest amount of grain - 468,800 tons - was threshed by the farmers of Odesa.

Harvesting of winter rape began in 5 regions of Ukraine, of which 86,200 tons have been threshed from 47,700 ha or 3% of the planned area, with an average yield of 18.1 tons/ha.
