In Ukraine, the harvest of soybeans and sunflowers is being completed, but corn has not yet been threshed on 29% of the area

According to operational data from the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture, as of November 20, 50.929 million tons of grain and leguminous crops were threshed from 10.229 million hectares (88% of the planned area) in Ukraine with an average yield of 4.98 t/ha, while last year at this time 53.373 million tons of grain were harvested from 10.772 million hectares or 97% of the planned area with an average yield of 4.95 t/ha.

The following number of late crops have been collected so far:

• corn - 20.836 million tons from 71% of the area or 3.118 million hectares with a yield of 6.68 tons/hectare (last year, on this date, 23.623 million tons were threshed from 94% of the area or 3.69 million hectares with a yield of 6.4 tons/hectare);
• buckwheat – 82.4 thousand tons from 97% of the area or 59.4 thousand hectares with a yield of 1.39 tons/hectare (88.1 thousand hectares; 99%; 131.7 thousand tons; 1.5 tons/hectare);
• millet – 62.1 thousand tons from 88% of the area or 35.8 thousand hectares with a yield of 1.74 centners/hectare (88.2 thousand hectares; 97%; 161.33 thousand tons; 1.83 tons/hectare);
• sunflower – 9.01 million tons from 92% of the area or 4.74 million hectares with a yield of 1.88 tons/hectare (97%; 4.855 million hectares; 10.07 million tons; 2.08 tons/hectare);
• soybeans – 4.723 million tons from 96% of the area or 1.96 million hectares with a yield of 2.37 tons/hectare (99%; 2.61 million hectares; 6 million tons; 2.3 tons/hectare).

The harvesting of sugar beets also continues, with 9.963 million tons of which have already been harvested from 186.6 thousand hectares or 94% of the planned area, with an average yield of 53.4 tons/hectare.

According to the State Customs Service of Ukraine, in the 2024/25 MY (as of November 19), the country exported 11.149 million tons of grain and leguminous crops, of which 1.768 million tons in November, while last year as of November 22, 17.203 million tons of grain were exported, including 2.804 million tons in November.

By crop, the following were shipped in the current season:

• wheat – 6.923 million tons, of which 690 thousand tons in November (last year 8.62 million tons, of which 878 thousand tons in November);
• barley – 1.15 million tons, in November – 58 thousand tons (1.81 million tons and 110 thousand tons);
• rye – 0.2 thousand tons (0);
• corn – 2.874 million tons, in November - 1.015 million tons (6.47 million tons and 1.79 million tons).

In addition, since the beginning of the season, 24.9 thousand tons of flour have been exported (in November - 3.5 thousand tons), of which 24.1 (3.4) thousand tons of wheat flour.
